Transforming Body & Mind
Helping stressed, bereaved or traumatised people get
their lives back on track
Modern Day Living May be Taking its Toll
The everyday pressures of modern-day living may be taking their toll. Stress has a big impact on our well-being, both emotionally and physically. Scientific studies have highlighted the links between long term stress and a whole range of illnesses which, if left unchecked, can lead to serious health issues that may threaten life.
Experience shows that people are often facing some of the following personal challenges:
Stress & Anxiety
Are you experiencing mental pressure from day to day living? Do you feel your life is lacking motivation and drive? Is your clarity of mind suffering, creating stress and anxiety? Are internal or external pressures causing your optimism and confidence to diminish?
Trauma
Sleep
How well do you sleep? Is sleep disruptive and often evasive? Is this slowing cognitive capacity and impacting the ability to think clearly? How often do you sleep through the night? Are you able to live your life effectively?
Weight
Do you find yourself eating to sooth your stress? Is your waistline increasing with regularity? Are you drinking alcohol to excess? Do you feel your body is under undue stress physically and mentally?

Are you looking to achieve a much healthier lifestyle, both from a physical and mental perspective?
If you are looking to achieve a much healthier lifestyle, both from a mental and physical perspective, it’s important to understand why your Mental Health matters…
From the time of your birth and even before that day, what happens to you on your personal journey is going to carve out the landscape of your life. That in turn will determine how you live your life, and how healthy, mentally and physically you will be.
The brain is an amazing organ, but any traumas you experience on your journey through life, will get encoded into your amygdala. This is the part of the brain that stores information and manages your response to a situation, dictating a fight, flight, freeze or rage reaction to that event, both in the moment as well as in your future.
Some people are more resilient and able to deal with the day-to-day stressors of life, but for others coping with life feels like being on a daily ‘battlefield’ of anger, anxiety and depression. In turn these stressors build up over the years, and impact how you think, act and do, how much sleep you get and ultimately how healthy a life you live. Not only do these stressors impact your mental well-being, for many people stress also impacts their choices of food, how much and how often they eat through the day (and sometimes night), and ultimately their weight.
It becomes a vicious cycle that is hard to break.
